These gold bracelets, once locked on a user’s wrists, cannot be removed short of the wearer’s death except by means of a remove curse, wish, or similar spell. Whenever the user is damaged in melee combat, the bracelets activate, reducing the wearer’s Strength¹ score to 3. The wearer’s Strength score rises by 1 every round, to a maximum Strength of 18. One round later, the user’s Strength returns to normal, until such time as the user is wounded again.
