Description:
A huge, muscular humanoid arm, covered with chitinous spines and ending in a large pincer. This arm was surgically attached to the left shoulder of the cleric Kevorkian by the not-quite-sane wizard Yarash the Sorcerer, in his laboratory beneath Sorcerer’s Island.
The arm has an effective Strength score of 18 (for determining actions taken with that arm only). Attacks with the pincer deal 1d10+4 damage. If a target of medium size or smaller is hit, it is automatically grappled (Escape DC 14). The arm seems to move of its own accord, allowing Kevorkian to make one attack with the claw as a bonus action each round. The arm lacks the dexterity to manipulate small objects or perform somatic spell components.
The arm is, for all purposes, part of Kevorkian’s anatomy. Attacks against the arm are made against his normal armor class and count against his hit point pool. However, the arm seems strangely resistant to certain forms of energy, taking only half damage from cold, fire, or lightning attacks so long as the rest of the body is not exposed (such as reaching into a hot furnace to retrieve something).
