An odd, necromantic brew, this potion causes any character taking it to undergo a frightening metamorphosis. The change takes one round to complete and is very painful. At the end of the transformation, the character gains the appearance and many of the abilities of a vampire. The character can spider climb and turn to gaseous form at will, regenerate three points of damage per round. The character is not restricted to darkness, does not gain any attack bonuses, charm ability or other benefits, nor can he or she drain levels. The effects of the potion last for 1d10+10 turns.
